Hi. My name is R and I’m 14 years old. I’ve had glasses for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until last year that I found out that my eyes needed much more help than just glasses. Prior to coming to vision therapy I couldn’t catch a ball to save my life. I got frequent headaches and doing my homework on the computer fatigued my eyes so much the words moved across the screen. I didn’t realize how much these things hindered the various activities I take part in. Through vision therapy, I have been able to improve in all of these areas and more. I can now catch, and kick, a ball, and playing competitive soccer has been ache-free for some time now and my long nights of homework have become that much less tedious because I can actually focus on what I am doing. Not to mention, my reading level and test-taking skills have improved so much. Vision Therapy has helped me in so many ways, I hope it does the same for you. Thank you Lori and Dr. Dudley!
