“I. was in kinder when his teacher shared with us ‘the lights are on and no one’s home.’ She suggested he had attention issues, but couldn’t give specifics. An OT recommended an informal vision assessment which resulted in a referral here. At the time I. was way below grade level in every area. After a year of therapy, I. is above grade level in reading and on grade level in every area. He also had issues with balance prior to therapy – that has all changed. He rides a bike without training wheels with confidence and is able to do many other things like catching balls that he never did before. I had no idea the impact his visual skills had on every aspect of his life (and I’m a special ed teacher!). We believe, without a doubt, therapy has changed his life and the direction of his education. Nikki has made a tremendous impact on him and his success!”
