Doctors and Staff
LEANNA DUDLEY, OD, FOVDR
Dr. Leanna Dudley is passionate about developmental vision and vision therapy. She works to listen and understand each patient’s vision problem and find the most appropriate treatment options, customizing the vision therapy program specifically for their needs. After optometry school she completed a residency program at SUNY College of Optometry in New York with emphasis on vision therapy, pediatric and developmental vision evaluation and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Dudley is a fellow of the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA), a world-wide organization for optometrists in vision therapy; formerly known as the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). She enjoys giving lectures and workshops for vision therapists, parents and teachers. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and getting on her bike when time allows.
LAUREN GOETTEMOELLER, OD
Dr. Goettemoeller is originally from Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University earning her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She then went on to Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee for her Doctorate of Optometry degree, where she was class president and graduated manga cum laude. She is currently a member of the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) and the Colorado Optometric Association. She has a wide range of experience in developmental optometry, which includes the youngest of patients, as well as active military who experienced traumatic brain injuries. She has extensive experience with children prior to her optometric career, and is very comfortable with patients of all ages and abilities. She has a variety of volunteer experience including inner-city elementary schools as well as working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in equestrian (horse) therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors during all seasons, likes exploring new restaurants and recipes, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Goettemoeller (we call her Dr. G at the office) is excited to combine all her passions and serve the Denver area!
LORA – OFFICE MANAGER
A multi-generational Coloradoan, Lora enjoys the beauty Colorado has to offer and being near her family. Lora has over 20 years of medical administration and management in the medical field. She is excited to bring her prior experience to help patients with their vision problems. In her spare time, Lora enjoys gardening, playing games with friends and family, and going to concerts. You can also catch her and her family cheering for the Broncos!
ELISE – OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Elise relocated to Colorado in 2022 after growing up in Tucson, Arizona. They attended the University of Arizona and received their B.S. in Business Administration with an Animal Sciences minor. After several years as a youth swim instructor and Montessori classroom assistant, Elise joined the DVT team to support people of all ages and backgrounds as they improve quality of life through vision management. When Elise is not in the office, you can find them writing, playing video games with their husband, or at the barn with their horse, Molly.
SETH – VISION THERAPY TECHNICIAN
Originally from Wisconsin, Seth brings his knowledge of audio/visual to the team at Denver Vision Therapy. Having a BS in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, he enjoys learning about the uniqueness in all the people he interacts with. He joined Denver Vision Therapy to make a positive impact on people’s lives and see improvement in their vision. During his free time, you can spot Seth at a golf course or cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Denver Broncos. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends in Colorado’s beautiful sceneries.
MICHELLE – CERTIFIED VISION THERAPIST
Michelle has always had a passion to work with people to improve their day to day life. She has a BA in Advanced Psychology (Cuma Sum Laude) with emphasis on Abnormal Psychology, and MA in Forensic Psychology. She understands how important it is to get the brain to work with all other areas in the human body, especially the eyes, so being a Vision Therapist is a great fit for her! Michelle became a Certified Vision Therapist in 2021. Michelle has worked with children and adults in various areas all her life, including building training programs to fit individual’s needs. She enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
KRISTINA – VISION THERAPIST
Kristina is a New Orleans native and has lived in Colorado since 2016. She previously studied at the University of New Orleans in the field of Biology with a focus on Clinical Research. She has also worked with vision therapists in the past and has an extensive background in the areas of optometry, speech, and audio. Kristina joined DVT to pursue her dream of working with others to help them navigate in the real world. She inspires to acknowledge growth and pursue goals with the necessary tools for all of her patients. Kristina loves dancing, playing piano and guitar, reading comics, playing with her husky pup, Remy, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints!
MONICA – VISION THERAPIST
Monica is a Colorado native that has always enjoyed helping others. With her B.A. in elementary education, she spent time in public education before teaching abroad in China. Wanting to follow that trajectory of supporting others’ growth, she branched out to a few other fields before landing at Denver Vision Therapy. By moving out of the classroom, Monica has found passion in working with patients toward their vision goals and her continuous education in vision therapy. When not in the office, she loves working on knitting projects and playing board games with friends and family.
KAY – VISION THERAPIST
Kay is a Colorado native who has always had a passion for helping people. She has worked with kids of all ages, from caring for toddlers as a daycare assistant, working alongside middle school teachers, to teaching teens (and adults) as a driving instructor. She joined DVT for the chance to bring all these experiences together and help improve people’s lives. She wants to never stop learning. In her free time, Kay enjoys drawing, playing the ukulele, and gaming with her friends.
